Wingate by Wyndham Louisville Fair and Expo

Needed a place to rest overnight. The hotel honored our late arrival without any problems. The rooms were clean and spacious. Everything worked as expected. There was a variety of breakfast choices from yogurt, cereal, eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit and bagels.

Very clean establishment and everyone at the front desk has always been helpful, cheerful and accommodating. Decent breakfast. We stay quite frequently visiting family in Louisville. DO NOT book your room on side facing the expressway! It’s rather loud at night lol!

Great service. We had a last minute need for a hotel due to a change of plans and they had a room at a fantastic price. Breakfast was delicious and hot. Easy to check in and out. There was very little sound during the night, idk what the other reviews were talking about. Thank you very much for such a great stay.

As soon we walked in the lobby it was nice and smelled very clean. Our room was nice with laminate floors and I felt comfortable with my children crawling around them but I will say it had a musty smell about it and everyday we would come back the smell would hit us walking in our room but then I guess we got used to it. The staff was always nice and attentive. The breakfast was really nice as well sausage, waffles, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, diced potatoes, yogurt, fruit, orange juice. It is right next to Bellarmine university which felt unsafe as we pulled up to it but we felt safe at the hotel itself-no sign of homeless or drug addicts. We stayed for 7 nights and on night 5 I seen a rat or a mouse!!!!! They offered me a new room but I refused and they offered me $40 off my last two nights, we did not see him again luckily. In those 7 nights I also only seen 4 roaches total so I guess that’s a win.

Stayed here bout a month ago…was pleasantly surprised with this place. Was totally expecting to be staying at a dud, but was all we could find on such last minute. However, was totally the opposite of what we expected..the staff was great, and was the first time ever had been met by an employee with an umbrella in the pouring rain, I believe he said his name was Bryan. Exceptionally polite….and the manager Roxana also went above and beyond our expectations. Would and will definitely consider this place again in the future. Great job by Wyndham and staff with this place. Thanks for an enjoyable experience in a not so great time for us. We appreciate u. Sorry took so long to get this review posted. Life kinda got in the way…just goes to show the impression they made that still remembered to eventually post a review…

Very clean and very pleasant, organized, decent breakfast. This is hard to come by today. I would recommend this place with pleasure to the pickiest people.

Nice staff. The rooms and common areas are very clean. The parking lot is decent. They have covered smoking areas and an ok pool. It's behind some less than stellar looking apartments but all in all I enjoyed this location and would definitely stay again.

Live the room layout. Only drawback is it right next to the freeway so you hear the trucks all night. However with the room we had with a King Bed, that portion of the room was away from the outer room which gets rid of most of the noise. Room was spotless, breakfast bar was very good. Would stay there again. They do accept dogs for a small fee. Very close to the Lights Under Louisville / Mega Caverns.
